This is the second of my two primary lines of fossil pokemon. Both lines are based on something that I find very interesting and something that appearently the average person doesn't know a whole lot about: evolution, namely transitional fossils. It seems like people who are against evolution love to make the statement that there are NO transitional fossils, fossils of creatures that demonstrate the evolutionary link between two seemingly different animals, in the fossil record. This of course is completely false, simply google 'transitional fossils' and you will find that there are thousands of them linking almost every form of life. Fish to tetrapods, tetrapods to reptiles, tetrapods to amphibians, reptiles to mammals, reptiles to birds, and yes, apes to humans. This line in particular is based on tiktaalik, a species that marks the transition of fish into land dewelling animals known as tetrapods. Tetrapods then branched off into amphibians and reptiles.

Also if anyone doubts evolution or is just genuinely curious I would be more than happy to indulge any questions you may have. I like to think of myself as being moderately knowledgeable on the subject.
